Indoor Covers

Thermalux 6mm is considered to be the best heat retention cover available in today’s market. It was designed for commercial or  school swimming pools, but it can be used to give the same effect on a private domestic pool too. The fabric is made from 6mm closed cell PE foam, which is laminated and sealed between a strong woven polyethylene top sheet and a clear protective skin. Thermalux is a dense material and will therefore keep light penetration to a minimum and help reduce algae growth.

6mm Thermalux Heat Retention Covers: unless otherwise stated at the time of order, they will be made approximately 30mm narrower than the width given. All covers are rolled to avoid packing folds. Please note that hemmed Thermalux is only available up to a cover size of 15m x 6m.

• A pool without a cover will lose an incredible 90%of its heat through evaporation.
• Most swimming pools are heated using conventional heating methods such as gas, electricity and oil. Without insulation a pool is vulnerable to heat loss.
• For indoor pools a heat retention cover is highly recommended.
• It will save on heat and form a vapour barrier between the water and the cooler air.
• Chemically treated vapours will rise and cause costly and sometimes permanent damage to the building structure, lights and other fixtures and fittings.
• Heat retention covers will stop vapour rising and save on heating, chemical and maintenance bills.
