Duoclear is a completely independent water treatment system based on salt water chlorination and mineral purification.Salt chlorination is a simple principle not unlike the sea and its ecosystem- The water in the pool is very slightly salty at 4 g/1, which is 9 times less than the salt content of sea waterThe Duoclear system is dependent on the pool's filtration. By salt chlorination through the cell the salt is converted into chlorine gas, a powerful disinfectant, which dissolves instantly in water.Active chlorine combined with the mineral particles diffused by the cartridge intensifies the action of the treatment against bacteria, algae and micro-organisms.The active chlorine, which is destroyed by the sun's UV rays, is constantly renewed by the cell without any intervention on your part.In this way the Duoclear system disinfects the pool completely, even when less chlorine is produced.The need for chemicals such as algaecides and flocculants, is eliminated.
NB: Please check your existing equipment is suitable with the salt content, you should find this within your instruction manuals, whoever if you are unsure please speak to our technical team on 0844 247 0047. If you have a stainless steel ladder you can purchase the Sacrificial Anode (product code CER-PSA01) that fits onto your ladder to protect the ladder from attack of electrolysis.
