Swimming is considered to be the most beneficial form of exercise whilst building strength and stamina and reducing stress to the body joints due to the buoyancy of the water. This exercise pool provides endless swimming and can be used for all types of swimming techniques, or as an air-bubble bath for under water massage.
The Plastica Wooden Pool is the leading wooden pool in the UK market - covering all grounds with the Premium Plastica Wooden Pool and the Economy Plastica Wooden Pool recently launched in 2010. All manufacturing is completed to a high standard in South East of England and the wood is made from 45mm Environmentally sourced Redwood and certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) and pressure treated with tanalith preservative just before it leaves the UK factorys from.
The Plastica Wooden Pool from 1st-direct.com are made from a combination of Scandinavian pine, ecologically safe preservative treated soft wood for the walls, and a textured hard wood for the top shelf. The combination of materials enables us to provide a 10 year Manufacturing warranty on the wall. The liners are manufactured by Plastica from 0.75mm (30thou) Vinyl Plain Blue with a Mosaic tileband and come with a 5 year warranty. The oval pools come with galvanised steel tee brace (designed to be embedded in the concrete when it is laid), which is particularly suited to in ground installations.
